Developed by the  Germplasm Bank of Wild Species (Animal Bank) and the Kunming Institute of Zoology,Chinese Academy of Sciences,the"Animal Germplasm Resource Information System"is a customized sample information management system designed for animal specimens. It is suitable for managing sample information—including blood,tissues,nucleic acids,cells,and specimens from wildlife,domesticated animals,and laboratory animals—as well as laboratory office administration.

The system includes a core sample management module that enables end-to-end online management of the full workflow:"query → storage → retrieval → cross-group transfer → feedback". 

Additionally,it integrates multiple office management modules to oversee laboratory spaces,equipment,reagents and consumables,personnel,and research achievements
