On February 8,the Primate Facility convened its second Science and Technology Committee meeting and 2025 Operation Plan review. Committee Chair Lin Li (Academician) and KIZ Deputy Director Bingyu Mao co-chaired the hybrid session.

KIZ Director Yonggang Yao reported on 2024 trial operations and the 2025 plan. The committee affirmed the facility’s scientific vision,recognized progress in technology development,data systems,and animal modeling,and endorsed the 2025 plan. Academician Li emphasized future focus on national strategic needs and major scientific challenges. The session concluded with commitments to advance platform innovation and global primate research leadership.
