The CRAFT,including the superconducting magnet research system and the divertor research system, can provide extreme experimental conditions such as particle beams, electricity, magnetism, heat, and force,and provide technical support to carry out fusion reactor design and core component development, research on key issues of heat and particle exclusion, large-scale low-temperature and superconducting technology, high-current ion beam and basic plasma research, deep space exploration, etc.
