The Chinese Aeronautic Remote Sensing System (CARSS)：It includes two domestically produced MA60 remote sensing aircraft platforms and two "Citation S/II" remote sensing aircraft, which have the ability to load multiple optical and microwave loads simultaneously, and have the ability to observe the earth all day, with high accuracy and synchronously. It is an effective technical means to carry out earth system scientific research , improve and develop remote sensing information science and technology experimental platform, and promote the industrialization of  remote sensing equipment, remote sensing data and remote sensing technology application in China. The legal entity of the facility is the Aerospace Information Innovation  Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
