Application collection for user projects for Chinese Aeronautic Remote Sensing System(2025)

Dec 02, 2024

Chinese Aeronautic Remote Sensing System is currently the aviation remote sensing platform and scientific experimental platform with the strongest comprehensive capabilities in China, including two MA60 remote sensing aircraft, two "Citation S/Ⅱ" remote sensing aircraft, ten sets of advanced information acquisition payloads, a petabyte (PB)-scale data processing center, and a field operation base. The system's remote sensing aircraft has 7 types of 18 ground observation windows, a maximum range of 4,000 kilometers, a maximum use height of 10,000 meters, and a maximum operating time in the air of 8 hours, meeting the requirements of integrated integration of various remote sensing loads such as microwave, spectral, infrared, laser, and atmospheric component remote sensing, simultaneous operation, data processing and real-time transmission of air-grounds.

The facilities can be widely applied in various fields such as agriculture ,forestry ,surveying and mapping ,public security ,emergency response ,water conservancy ,and marine sectors. They are of great significance in promoting major original breakthroughs in China's aviation remote sensing technology and applications ,and will continue to drive the innovation and development of related industrial technologies.

I. Application and Solicitation Period for Chinese Aeronautic Remote Sensing System

IV. Notes:

During the process of applying for machine time on Chinese Aeronautic Remote Sensing System through the Sharing Service Platform of CAS Large Research Infrastructures of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the specific steps are divided into three parts: project application, experiment application, and user achievement feedback.

1.Project Application: User submits application → User Office conducts preliminary review → Equipment Manager conducts initial review → Expert review → Equipment Manager conducts final review → User is notified → User obtains machine time;

2.Experiment Application and Execution: User submits experiment application → Administrator reviews and allocates machine time → User confirms experiment;

3.User Achievement Feedback: User submits scientific research achievements (papers, patents, awards, etc.).
