The Thomson scattering diagnostics system is one of the most important diagnostics systems on EAST tokamak, which can provide temperature and density profiles of plasma electron . After nearly 20 years of development,two systems of core and edge Thomson scattering have been built,covering the small radius of 0-1.1a. The system performance parameters are spatial resolution of 5-20mm and temporal resolution of 4kHz.
