The Shenguang-II 9th laser facility has been upgraded to deliver picosecond-kilojoule-petawatt (ps-kJ-PW) laser, while retaining its original capabilities for probe diagnostics laser and laser-driven equation-of-state studies. Some key components at both the front-end and final optics sections are developing on 9th beam in order to combine with SG-II upgrade beamfor shot.
