    A 360-degree rotating beam proton therapy system has made significant progress. It was officially approved for medical device registration by the National Medical Products Administration on May 8, and the first batch of patients began treatment on May 12. This system is jointly developed by the Shanghai Advanced Research Institute, Shanghai Apactron Particle Equipment Co. Ltd., the Shanghai Institute of Applied Physics, and Ruijin Hospital affiliated with Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine.
