The third meeting of the International Advisory Committee (IAC) for the High Energy Photon Source (HEPS) was held in Huairou from Jan. 14 to 16, followed by a dedicated session for HEPS phase II beamlines on Jan. 17. It was chaired by Harald Reichert from DESY and co-chaired by Alex Chao from SLAC. Nineteen IAC members from international institutes and universities, as well as the HEPS project management team, attended the meeting.

  In particular, the case of neutral beam injected particles in ITER is   shown, which are redistributed under the   action of Coulomb collisions and a fixed amplitude toroidal Alfvén eigenmode.

The in-depth discussions covered technical collaboration, exploration of future collaboration plans, joint experiments with the Experimental Advanced Superconducting Tokamak, and initiatives for talent exchange.

From October 1st to October 7th, the enchanting Science Island in Hefei has been the vibrant host of the ChinaInternational Science and Art Week, an extraordinary celebration that beautifully intertwines the realms of science, technology, and art.

His     work has left a lasting impact on the field and has undoubtedly     propelled the advancement of fusion research both within China and     across the globe.

On August 28th,     Victor Afanasev presented a lecture at ASIPP on"energy losses"during     electron and light ion interactions with solids, focusing on plasma     recycling issues and plasma oscillation relaxation in solids.
