Full-Temperature, Full-Pressure Single-Can Full-Scale Combustor Test Rig(CC-03)

Apr 09, 2026

The CC-03 Full-Temperature, Full-Pressure Single-Can Full-Scale Combustor Test Rig is a performance validation platform for combustor components. It can simulate critical characteristics of a single-can combustor under actual gas turbine operating conditions, including total pressure loss, wall temperature, static pressure distribution, flashback/extinction, combustion stability, outlet temperature field distribution, and pollutant emissions. The rig facilitates full-operating-condition validation testing and combustion adjustment research, enabling the acquisition of combustor performance across all operating conditions and its behavior under varying conditions, achieving a Technology Readiness Level (TRL) of 5~6. The CC-03 platform comprises three test stations: CC-03A, CC-03B, and CC-03C. Capable tests include:

· Performance testing of full-temperature, full-pressure single-can full-scale combustors under ignition, acceleration, part-load, and full-load operating conditions.

· Fuel switching testing for full-temperature, full-pressure single-can full-scale combustors.

· Fuel flexibility testing for full-temperature, full-pressure single-can full-scale combustors.

Full-temperature, full-pressure performance tests have been conducted on the CC-03 test rig, including the National Science and Technology Major Project IGCC coal-based gas single-can combustor test and G200 gas turbine single-can combustor test.
