The settling chamber is an important component of the CP-01 compressor test platform. It positioned between the inlet pressure control valves and the test compressor, serving to provide a uniform inflow field for the test compressor. It comprises a perforated plate, a honeycomb, flow screens, a diffuser, a settling chamber and a dome section, with a diameter of 4.2 m and a total length of 12.6 m. The chamber accommodates a flow range of 17~250 kg/s and a pressure range of 40 kPa to atmospheric pressure. Following flow conditioning by the settling chamber, the inflow field indicators of the test compressor meet the following criteria: total pressure non-uniformity ≤5%, and velocity turbulence intensity ≤3%, exceeding the requirements of the HB7115-2020.
