Designed to recover waste heat from the expander exhaust, the recuperator preheats the high-pressure flow at the compressor outlet, significantly reducing heater duty and improving thermal efficiency. The PCHE-based recuperator comprises series-connected HTR and LTR stages, each with two parallel units, delivering a total heat exchange capacity of 12.2 MW. Its compact design and robust pressure-bearing capacity ensure reliable operation under high-temperature, high-pressure sCO₂ conditions.
